who we are

Mike Broadbent

I offer a confidential space where we can explore, together, what is behind the current life issues that have brought you to counselling and help you to resolve them.

As a psychodynamic therapist I work both with the current life situation as well as looking to the past for insight and understanding about the present. Although we cannot change the past we can change our perception of it and this can have a significant effect on the present.

My main focus is working with people who are on the transgender spectrum and are seeking to understand themselves and how they fit into society. I offer a non-judgemental space where these issues can be explored and a way found to acknowledge and accept this aspect of one’s personality and express it in a beneficial way.

Please take a look at the blog for more information.
